Dr. Neil Patel, DDS
Dr. Neil Patel grew up in Merced, CA. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. Following his time in Los Angeles, he moved to Bay Area to attend the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry, where he earned his D.D.S. Degree. During his time at UCSF, he held many leadership positions and was awarded the Dental Student Award for Achievement in Periodontology from the American Academy of Periodontology and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievements in Periodontics by UCSF.
Following dental school, Dr. Patel pursued specialty training in Periodontology and a masters degree in Orofacial Sciences from UCSF. During his residency, Dr. Patel served as the Chief Resident and was involved in multiple research studies to help advance the field, including his thesis about the usage of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) in systemically compromised patients.
